NIFT Recruitment – Education & Age Limit:For Post 1 : Qualification: Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/Institution. Experience: Twenty years of administrative/academic/managerial experience in Government Organization/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body/ University /Institution out of which at least fifteen years at supervisory level (level-10 or equivalent) Age Limit: 50 years For Post 2: Education & Exp. : Officers of the Central Govt. / State Govt./ UT/ Autonomous Organization / PSUs holding analogous post on regular basis OR with at least five years of regular service in Level-11 with relevant experience in Purchase Procedures / Establishment Matters / Admission Procedures/ Administrative Matters. NIFT Srinagar has displayed a notification for the Group – C posts on a contract basis for a period of 05 years.

NIFT Recruitment – Education Qualification:
Steno Grade III – Graduate from a University/ Institute of reputed or 80 wpm in shorthand & 40 wpm in typing.
Assistant Accounts – Graduate in Commerce /Economics /Statistics /Mathematics from a University/Institute of repute. AND Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications Operations latest software i.e. MS Office with typing speed English/ Hindi.
Assistant Warden – Candidates should have acquired a Graduate from a recognized University.
Machine Mechanic – Diploma/Certificate from ITI as Fitter in related areas or its equivalent diploma/Certificate recognized by the Government.
Library Assistant – Graduate from a recognized University/ Institution, and Diploma /Degree in Library Science.
Junior Assistant – Candidates should have passed the 12th examination from a Board or its equivalent recognized by the Govt. And typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
Lab Assistant (FD, FC & IT) – 10+2 plus diploma/certificate of 3 years duration in Cutting & Tailoring/Dress Designing, and Graduate from a recognized university/ institution, and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application/ B.Sc. (Computer Science).
Bus Driver – 10th pass from a Board or it’s equivalent recognized by the Government. with a driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Candidates should have passed 1oth class with ITI.

NIFT Recruitment – Application Fee –
Candidates should have to pay an application fee which is Rs.500/- is required to be paid online by the General, EWS & OBC candidates for the post applied. SC/ST/PWD & Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection Process –
Candidates’ selection will be made based on their performance in the Written Test/ Skill Test.
– No TA / DA will be possible for the candidates who participate in the written examination and interview.

National Institute of Fashion Technology:
NIFT was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It was declared a statutory institute in 2006 and empowered to grant its own degree by an Act of the Indian Parliament. NIFT currently has 17 campuses spread across the country. The main campus in New Delhi was established in 1986. The campuses at Chennai, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Mumbai were set up in 1995 followed by the Bengaluru campus in 1997. The campuses in Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Patna, Raebareli, Shillong, Srinagar, and Panchkula were established in the last decade.
