IISER Pune Jobs – Education Qualification:-
1. Laboratory Manager – The candidates should have acquired M.Sc. Degree in Physics / Electronics / Material Science / Physical Chemistry / Life Sciences / relevant subjects with first class or equivalent grade.
Desirable & experience – (i) Candidate should have excellent experience in managing the Electron Microscopy facility, outstanding team managing capabilities, and interpersonal skills. Experience in using electron microscopy / electron cryomicroscopy / electron tomography to study structures of proteins / viruses / cellular organelles. (ii) Minimum 5 year’s experience in the Government Educational / Research Institute / Autonomous Bodies / Institutions of National Importance / University/ PSU at the level of Scientific / Technical Officer managing Electron Microscopy or other high-end microscopy facilities.
2. Technical Associate / Lab Associate – The candidates should have acquired M.Sc. Degree in Physics / Electronics / Life Sciences / relevant subjects with first class or equivalent grade.
Desirable & Experience – Candidate having Experience in handling biological samples, such as proteins/ cells/ tissue; in using electron microscopy/electron cryomicroscopy/electron tomography to study structures of proteins /viruses /cellular organelles.
