Summary – The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC has renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer center in India – the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. ACTREC Recruitment – Education Qualification:-
1. Asst. Medical Superintendent – The candidates should have acquired M.B.B.S. with full-time Post Graduation in Hospital Administration (M.H.A.) from a recognized University in India or abroad.
2. Asst. Staff Physician ‘C’ – Candidates should have acquired M.B.B.S. with a minimum of 3 years experience in a large general hospital providing comprehensive General Medicine Care to staff.
3. Purchase Officer – The candidate should have acquired a Graduate in any discipline with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Material Management from a reputed institution.
4. Medical Physicist ‘C’ – The candidates should have acquired M.Sc. (Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics OR Equivalent AERB approved qualifications.
5. Nurse ‘A’ – The candidates should have acquired General Nursing & Midwifery plus a Diploma in Oncology Nursing with two years of clinical experience in a 50 bedded hospital OR Basic or Post Basic B.Sc.(Nursing) with two years of clinical experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital. Candidates should be eligible to register with the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council.
6. Pharmacist ‘B’ – The Candidates should have acquired B. Pharm with a minimum of 1-year experience OR D. Pharm with a minimum of 3 years working experience in Dispensary / Pharmacy of the Hospital having a minimum of 200 beds.
7. Networking Technician ‘C’ – Candidates should have acquired H.S.C. plus Diploma in Hardware and Networking (2 years after 12th Std.) from the Government recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks.
8. Technician ‘A’ – The candidates should have acquired SSC plus two years of full-time ITI course in Electrical/Fitter from Government Recognised Institute with one year experience in the operation of overhead pumps of the larger capacity of a big campus, maintenance of automatic level controller, pumps, water pipelines, etc.
ACTREC Recruitment – Age Limit:
For Posts 1, 2 & 3 – Candidates’ maximum age limit should be 40 years as of 30/04/2019.
Post 4 – The candidate age limit should not be more than 35 years as of 30/04/2019.
For Posts 5, 6 & 7 – The candidate age limit should not be more than 30 years as of 30/04/2019.
Post 8 – Candidates’ maximum age limit should be 27 years as of 30/04/2019.
– Relaxation in the upper age will be applicable as per Centre Govt Reservation Policy.
